Day 1, Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast at your Hotel in Kampala, our guide will pick you up and drive you to Kibale Forest National Park. This is a fascinating drive through papyrus swamps and thick jungle of the Nile Delta to the Park under the Ruwenzori Mountain ranges. Upon arrival, you will take guided nature walk in the crater lakes region for outstanding cultural visit and experience. Dinner and overnight stay at Kibale Forest Lodge or Ndali Lodge (Luxury) or Kibale forest Camp or Chimp nest lodge (Mid Range) or Chimpanzee guest House (Budget) (B-L-D)
Day 2, Chimpanzee Trekking & transfer to Bwindi via Queen Elizabeth
After an early morning breakfast, you will report to the park Headquarters at Kanyachu tourist center for a briefing from the ranger guides. From here you will enter into the forest in search for the chimpanzee and the chances of viewing the chimps are over 90% but it’s not a guarantee. This park is one of the most beautiful and stunning forests in the Uganda and it is a home to over 13 species of primates. Search for primates like the chimps, Red colobus monkey, Black and white colobus Monkeys, Grey-cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey and the rare L’hoests monkey. Also you can as well see a lot of bird species. Return to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, you will transfer to Bwindi National Park via Queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey en route will give you an opportunity to sport different wildlife animals like Elephants, Buffaloes, Lions and many more. Day 3, Gorilla trekking in Bwindi
After an early breakfast, you will report to the park offices for Gorilla tracking briefing. After a short word from the ranger guides and information on how to behave with the Gorillas, you will set off with the guides to track the gorillas. You will encounter many difficulties on your way to see the Gorillas but the moment you set your eyes on them, all the bad memories of the trek will be erased away. You are advised to bring your jungle boots and rain jackets because the park is often wet. Its well known that each gorilla safari encounter is different and has its own rewards, but most of the time enjoyed is when the adults starts feeding, grooming and resting as the young ones frolic and swing from vines. After the trek, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Gorilla Forest Camp/Gorilla Resort (Luxury) or Buhoma Lodge Engangi Gorilla Lodge (mid range) or Buhoma community bandas or wagtail eco safari camp (budget) (B-L-D)
Day 4, Transfer back to Kampala
After early breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala with a stopover in Mbarara town for Lunch and also at the Equator monument for photographs and water experiments. Drop off will be at your Hotel in Kampala.
