Day 1, Kampala – Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast at your Hotel, the guide will pick you up and you begin on your scenic drive north-west through the famous Luwero Triangle and transfer to Masindi town with a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking. Have lunch from the sanctuary and later transfer to Masindi and then to Murchison falls National Park via the Kichumbanyobo gate. Upon arriving in the Park, you will visit the top of the falls where you will see the Nile’s beauty perfected!! You will have a close look at the Nile as it compresses from up to 1 km and squeeze its self through a 7 meter gorge and drop down 45 meters thus making a thunderous roar and creating a beautiful rainbow. After the scenic view, you will transfer to your lodge at Paraa safari lodge/Chobe safari lodge (Luxury) or Sambiya River Lodge (Mid range ) or Red chili (Budget) for dinner and overnight stay (B-L-D)
Day 2, Game drive and launch cruise
After a morning served breakfast, you will set out for the game drive in the Northern sector of the Park. Your guide will help you to search for animals like the Elephants, Lions, Cape buffalos, Rothschild’s giraffes, hartebeest, Waterbuck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Bohor reedbuck, hyena. If you are a lucky visitor, you may also spot the rare Leopards. After the game drive, you will return back to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon set out for the marvelous launch cruise on the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls and stopping just 10 meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron”. En-route, you may spot animals such as Hippos, crocodiles and a lot of bird species such as Goliath heron, Egyptian goose, pelican bee-eater, kingfisher, hornbill, cormorant and the rare shoebill stork. Return back to your lodge at Paraa safari lodge/Chobe safari lodge (Luxury) or Sambiya River Lodge (Mid range ) or Red chili (Budget) for dinner and overnight stay (B-L-D)
Day 3, Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will drive southwards to Fort Portal via Hoima. The journey passes through a verdant countryside and past traditional homesteads and farms along Albertine Rift escarpments. Fort Portal town is located in the shadow of the known Mountains of the Moon or the Rwenzori Mountains. You will have Lunch in Hoima town and then reach Fort Portal in the evening. Proceed to Kibale Forest National Park reaching in time for dinner and overnight stay at Kibale Forest Lodge or Ndali Lodge (Luxury) or Kibale forest Camp or Chimp nest lodge (Mid Range) or Chimpanzee guest House (Budget) (B-L-D)
Day 4, Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Walk
After an early morning breakfast, you will report to the park Headquarters at Kanyachu tourist center for a briefing from the ranger guides. From here you will enter into the forest in search for the chimpanzee and the chances of viewing the chimps are over 90% but it’s not a guarantee. This park is one of the most beautiful and stunning forests in the Uganda and it is a home to over 13 species of primates. Search for primates like the chimps, Red colobus monkey, Black and white colobus Monkeys, Grey-cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey and the rare L’hoests monkey. Also you can as well see a lot of bird species. Return to your lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, set out for the swamp walk in Bigodi to search for more bird species. Return back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Kibale Forest Lodge or Ndali Lodge (Luxury) or Kibale forest Camp or Chimp nest lodge (Mid Range) or Chimpanzee guest House (Budget) (B-L-D)
Day 5, Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP
After breakfast, you will visit the crater region for a crater tour and then later transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with views of the great Rwenzori Mountain. The journey will give you a game drive en route for the spot of animals like Lions, Elephants and so many others. Relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge/Jacana Safari Lodge (Luxury), Katara Lodge/Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge (mid range) or Simba safari camp (budget) (B-L-D)
Day 6, Game drive and launch cruise
After a morning breakfast, you will take on a morning game drive to catch-up with the early risers and predators while returning to their hideouts. You are most likely see the grazing, Elephants, Lions, spotted Hyenas, bush buck, water buck, stripped jackal, warthogs and if you are lucky you can as well spot the Leopard. Return back to your lodge for lunch after which you will take on an afternoon Launch cruise along Kazinga Channel which joins Lakes Edward and George. The cruise will offer you views of animals like the hippos, buffalos, Kobs and the Nile crocodile and a lot of bird species. Day 7, Transfer to Bwindi National Park
After breakfast, you will go for a guided chimpanzee tracking experience in the Kyambura gorge and then later transfer to Bwindi National Park via the famously known southern sector called Ishasha sector. The area is well known for habiting the rare tree climbing lions. You will take on yet another game drive in search of tree climbing lions before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Day 8, Gorilla trekking in Bwindi
After an early breakfast, you will report to the park offices for Gorilla tracking briefing. After a short word from the ranger guides and information on how to behave with the Gorillas, you will set off with the guides to track the gorillas. You will encounter many difficulties on your way to see the Gorillas but the moment you set your eyes on them, all the bad memories of the trek will be erased away. You are advised to bring your jungle boots and rain jackets because the park is often wet. Its well known that each gorilla safari encounter is different and has its own rewards, but most of the time enjoyed is when the adults starts feeding, grooming and resting as the young ones frolic and swing from vines. After the trek, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Gorilla Forest Camp/Gorilla Resort (Luxury) or Buhoma Lodge Engangi Gorilla Lodge (mid range) or Buhoma community bandas or wagtail eco safari camp (budget) (B-L-D)
Day 9, Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After an early morning breakfast, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi via Kabale region also known as the Switzerland of Africa. Spend the afternoon resting and have your dinner and overnight stay at Bunyonyi safaris resort (Luxury) or Bunyonyi Arcadia Cottages (Mid range)/Bunyonyi Overland camp (Budget) (B-L-D)
Day 10, Full day at Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, you will dedicate the whole of this day at the Lake relaxing. In the afternoon, you will take a boat ride to some of the Islands on the lake and get to know their history. Day 11, Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Mburo National park. En route, visit the Igongo cultural village to learn and experience the life style and culture of the Ankole and the Bahima people. Later transfer to the park for the afternoon boat ride on Lake Mburo for a clear view of different animals like Hippos and the crocodiles. Day 12, Transfer back to Kampala
After early breakfast, take on a morning Bush walk where you are likely to see animals like elands, impalas, waterbucks, warthogs, and zebras. Thereafter drive back to Kampala with a stopover at the Equator monument for photographs and water experiments.
