Day 1, Depart for Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast at your Hotel in Kampala, you will set out with your driver guide and drive North West approximately 6 hours through the famous Luweero Triangle to Murchison Falls National Park. This is the largest park in Uganda and it occupies an area of about 3840 square kilometers. Stopover in Masindi for Lunch and after proceed to the park for the visit to the famous Top of the falls. This is the spot where the Nile river water forces its self in a narrow gap in a rock only 7 meters wide pouring into a gorge 43 meters down thus making a thunderous roaring sound. Proceed to your assigned accommodation facility for dinner and overnight stay at Paraa Safari Lodge for Luxury/Red Chill campsite for Budget /Sambiya River Lodge for mid range
Day 2, Game drive and launch cruise
After breakfast, you will take an early morning game drive in the northern Parts of the Park in such of animals such as the lion, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and a number of antelopes. Return to the lodge for Lunch and after you will go for the afternoon launch cruise on the Albert Nile to the foot of the mighty Murchison Falls with a great chance of seeing the Hippos, Crocodiles, Elephants and Buffaloes grazing and a lot of birdlife. Day 3, Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, you will set out for your longest journey from Murchison falls to Kibale Forest National Park (9 hours drive). You will pass via Hoima for lunch and the journey will offer you with beautiful views of the true Ugandan local homesteads and culture. Reach Fort Portal in the evening and enter the park where you will go to your assigned place of accommodation for dinner and overnight stay at Primates Lodge for Luxury/Kibale Forest Camp for mid range and Chimpanzee Guest House for budget
Day 4, Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will report to the ranger station in Kibale Forest National Park at 8am for a briefing from the ranger guides. After this you will enter the forest to track the habituated chimps. In the forest there are a network of forest trails which provide much pleasure to botanists and butterfly lovers. The forest boosts a total 335 species recorded. After the tracking, you will return to the Lodge for lunch and in the afternoon, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with a game drive en route. Day 5, Transfer to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda
After a fully served breakfast our company representative will start off the journey to Rwanda via the southern sector of the Park called the Ishasha sector and is famously known for the rare tree climbing lions. Have lunch and later proceed with your journey to Kisoro with a view beautiful landscape also known as the Switzerland of Africa and head to Rwanda. You will then cross through Cyanika boarder to Rwanda and there transfer to Volcanoes National Park in Rwanda. Day 6, Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast, you will report to the Park headquarters for registration and Gorilla group allocation. You will be briefed shortly about the Gorilla rules and then after this you will be accompanied by your ranger guide into the forest to search for the great Apes. You will hike into Volcano Virunga Hills and green Valley in search for the gorillas and the activity is somehow tiresome but once you meet the Gorillas, you will definitely forget all the hardships you went through to see the Gorillas. After meeting the Gorillas, you will spend with them one hour which will give you an opportunity to take photographs. After this, you will transfer back to your lodge with Gorilla trek experiences and memories for relaxation. In the evening, you can visit the twin lakes of Burera and Ruhondo for cultural experiences. Day 7, Transfer to Kigali or back to Kampala
After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to Kigali for a city tour which includes visiting the genocide memorial, Kaplachi craft Shop, and the Kimironko market en route and then take your flight.
