Day 1, Kampala- Queen Elizabeth NP.
After breakfast, our guide will pick you up from your Hotel in Kampala and transfer you to Western Uganda where Queen Elizabeth National Park is located. En route you will stop over at the Equator monument for photographs and water experiments and also in Mbarara town for Lunch. You will continue with your drive to the Park and you will enjoy the beautiful scenery, herds of long horned Ankole cattle, tea plantations in Ishaka, Rift valley escarpment, open grassland and woodland savanna. dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge/Jacana Safari Lodge (Luxury), Katara Lodge/Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge (mid range) or Simba safari camp (budget) (B-L-D)
Day 2, Game drive and launch cruise.
After a morning breakfast, you will take on a morning game drive to catch-up with the early risers and predators while returning to their hideouts. You are most likely see the grazing, Elephants, Lions, spotted Hyenas, bush buck, water buck, stripped jackal, warthogs and if you are lucky you can as well spot the Leopard. Return back to your lodge for lunch after which you will take on an afternoon Launch cruise along Kazinga Channel which joins Lakes Edward and George. The cruise will offer you views of animals like the hippos, buffalos, Kobs and the Nile crocodile and a lot of bird species. Dinner and overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge/Jacana Safari Lodge (Luxury), Katara Lodge/Queen Elizabeth Bush Lodge (mid range) or Simba safari camp (budget) (B-L-D).
Day 3, Chimpanzee trekking and transfer back to Kampala
After breakfast, you will go for a guided primate or chimpanzee walk in Kyambura Gorge to look for habituated chimps through the gorge. After this, return back to Kampala with lunch enroute in Mbarara town. Later, proceed to Kampala and drop off will be t your Hotel.
